Jiyoun Kim Studio designed a facial boosting spa product with Amorepacific’s beauty device brand Makeon.

A facial boosting spa is a steamer device which provides moisture to face. It is a daily product, so it had to be easy and intuitive to use, while visually less intrusive when placed on a vanity table. To minimize visual bulkiness, Jiyoun Kim Studio made its shape simple, and decided on matt white finish. Without using overly complicated hinges, users can control the angle of steam with two pins on the top side.

Facial Boosting Spa was launched in Korea, fall 2021.
