Jiyoun Kim Studio collaborated with Amorepacific on a renewal project for the Ryo Daily Line, which is specifically designed for the Chinese market. Amorepacific is responding to the evolving expectations of consumers in both Korea and China by developing separate brand strategies for each country.

The Daily Line was conceived to maintain Ryo's Eastern motifs while revitalizing its outdated brand image and adding a modern touch. Jiyoun Kim Studio worked closely with Amorepacific China, taking into account feedback from the sales team and the overall brand direction throughout the project. The pump button and the smooth curves connecting to the bottle evoke the appearance of traditional roof tiles, giving the product a blend of Eastern and contemporary aesthetics.

To showcase the unique characteristics and benefits of each of the six products in the lineup, various materials and colors were explored and finalized in collaboration with Amorepacific China. Over the course of more than a year, designs for different capacities within each lineup were developed.

Ryo Daily Line was launched in China in the fall of 2023 through Amorepacific.
